Nearly twenty-five thousand households in southeastern Queensland were left lacking electricity on Monday morning after powerful weather events passed over the area, producing powerful gusts hitting 109 kilometers per hour.
Massive Hailstones and Widespread Impact
Locals reported giant hailstones measuring up to seven centimeters in certain regions. Meteorological experts confirmed that various areas across the state had been impacted by significant hail.

State Emergency Services received over five hundred emergency reports across the area, mainly for property damage but also for downed trees and inundation.
